Golden Loves these Christmas Traditions!

The Golden team shared some of their favorite Christmas-time traditions - which ones will you try!?

Peter:

My family LOVES to play Euchre. Each year on Christmas we have a mini-Euchre tournament with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place... it gets competitive.

Sueann:

Christmas Eve, my kids get a holiday box from Mom complete with their favorite snacks, a holiday (or Disney) movie, and pajamas. Then we play games and watch Christmas movies!

Marki:

Each year, our family does a Secret Santa for the adults and all of the kids get presents.

Dakota:

My favorite tradition is when my whole family gets matching pajamas and we watch "It's A Wonderful Life" and bake cookies at my parents' house on Christmas Eve!

Molly:

We drive around the local neighborhoods and rank the best Christmas light displays!

Debbie:

My favorite tradition is attending church with my family on Christmas Eve and then after the church service, we gather for snacks and hors d'oeuvres and dance to Andy Williams' Christmas album and read "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" to the little kids.

Sandra:

My favorite holiday tradition is when my large Italian family (around 45 of us) joins together to celebrate The Feast of Seven Fishes. This involves eating a large meal that consists of fish, salads, vegetables, appetizers, and desserts! We all come together at a very large table for three hours at my Aunt's house in Windsor.

Bryan:

Our family has a big Christmas dinner complete with mashed potatoes, meatballs, stuffing, and cookies, of course! The adults eat while the kids run around.

Joanne:

On Christmas Eve, after all of the presents are wrapped and all of the stockings are stuffed, I curl up on the couch with a cocktail and watch "It’s a Wonderful Life".

Joshua:

One of my favorite holiday traditions is when my family gets together to bake a ton of cookies! We make everything from sugar cookies to gingerbread, shortbread, and chocolate cookies — you name it. Then we have a decorating party, play music, and watch Christmas movies together. My favorite is "The Year Without a Santa Claus."

Maya:

My favorite Holiday Tradition is delivering homemade cinnamon rolls for dear friends to enjoy on Christmas morning - then hosting dinner for my neighbors, who have no family to spend the holidays with.
