How long have you been with Golden Limousine?
Almost a year now.
What is your role?
Safety and Compliance Manager.
What made you decide to pursue your role?
Golden's reputation. Long successful history in safety and compliance, and understood the job requirements.
What do you enjoy most about working at Golden?
The camaraderie, everyday is a new venture. Also manage the detail operations (garage manager).
What is the most challenging part of your job?
The garage part (ha ha). Keeping everything organized and on track for the submission of documentation. Time management, taking care of FMCSA compliance. (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration)
What does a typical workday at Golden Limousine look like for you?
Chaos (ha ha). Reviewing Samsara, detail shop some days. Monitoring driver safety scores and hours of service.
With Golden's diverse fleet, are there certain vehicles that you enjoy working on more than others? If so, why?
Motor coaches, because they're my area of expertise.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Playing music (all of it!! Classic rock - fave band Bad Company) and riding my Harley.
What's your favorite food?
Gumbo!
What brings you joy?
Spending time with my family.
