How long have you been with Golden Limo and what is your role?
Since July 27, 2019 as a Fleet Dispatcher.

What made you decide to pursue Dispatching? Truthfully, I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I applied at Golden 5 years ago. At that time, I was going to be a personal trainer with a lady who also worked at Golden as one of the overnight dispatchers. She (Ashley) knew that I was looking for a new place to work and she was ready to step back from dispatching. Ashley talked me into applying, and 5 years later here we are!!

What do you enjoy most about working at Golden?
I can't pick just one thing --I love many things about working at Golden!! I love my dispatch team, watching and helping them grow and holding them accountable to do better every day is very rewarding. I also enjoy building relationships with our Chauffeurs. It is funny I have not met all of our Chauffeurs face to face but have become close to so many just being a friendly wakeup call early in the morning. I do enjoy being on the other end of the phone for their 1-hour call and doing what I can to try to start their day as positively as I can. I also love the challenge of the job, don't get me wrong some days are really tough behind the dispatch desk, but I do enjoy when I do have an issue and figuring out how to fix the puzzle is very rewarding.

What is the most challenging part of your job? Ensuring that all of our chauffeurs check in 1 hour prior to their shift can be challenging, especially for the early morning shifts, I do everything I can to wake them up, or jumping through hoops to get trips/shifts covered when need be. The overnight shift in general can be challenging because most people are sleeping at that time, so trying to contact our affiliates or chauffeurs in the middle of the night can be tough, but we make it happen.

What does a typical workday at Golden Limo look like for you? I can't say I have a typical day; every day brings something different.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I enjoy spending time with my 3 children: Kendra, Kamden, Karli. They are my world and the reason I need to leave the night shift and join the day shift so I can spend more time with my babies. We love going to Cedar Point, swimming, shopping, just being outside more in the summer.

What's your favorite food? I guess if I had to pick one, I will say pizza.

What brings you joy? My children motivate me to be the best version of myself. Spending time with them gives me all the joy in the world.
